Truly Great Books?

What was the last truly great book you read?It's true that I live in a bubble, but I don't think I've ever even heard of these books. Three of the four were published within the past five years, during which time it's unlikely that any truly great books have appeared.
I can't stop thinking about "The Hare With Amber Eyes," by Edmund de Waal; "The Signature of All Things," by Elizabeth Gilbert; "Citizens of London," by Lynne Olson; and "A Suitable Boy," by Vikram Seth.
