Karl Maurer
Karl Maurer, Associate Professor of Classics at the University of Dallas, died on Monday, May 4: "In Memoriam: Classics Professor, Man of Letters Karl Maurer." I never met Karl, but I always welcomed his learned, thought-provoking, passionate emails, full of encouragement and friendly, helpful criticism. I will miss him. Thanks to Rebekah Spearman for telling me the sad news.
