Hold on! Calm your anger!That's a rather spare translation of the Greek, which more literally means:
στῆσον πόδ᾽, ὀργῇ δ᾽ ὑπόθες ἥσυχον πόδα.
πόδα codd.: τροπόν Musgrave, βάσιν Blomfield, φρένα Middendorf
