Much Nonsense

Aristophanes, fragment 468 (tr. Jeffrey Henderson):
For fear of death is the greatest senselessness:
we're all of us obliged to suffer it.

τὸ γὰρ φοβεῖσθαι τὸν θάνατον λῆρος πολύς·
πᾶσιν γὰρ ἡμῖν τοῦτ᾿ ὀφείλεται παθεῖν.
