First Person Plural Possessive Pronoun

Leo Spitzer (1887-1960), "The Addresses to the Reader in the'Commedia," Italica 32.3 (September, 1955) 143-165 (at 151), calls the first person plural possessive pronoun the "possessive of human solidarity."
