... πάντα δεινὰ κἀπικινδύνως βροτοῖς
κεῖται παθεῖν μὲν εὖ, παθεῖν δὲ θάτερα.
The general sense is:—'There is always a danger for men that, after they have been prosperous, they may be unfortunate.'
