ἠργασάμην δικαίως, ἡδὺν βίον εἶχον ἀεὶ ζῶν,
ἐσθίων καὶ πίνων καὶ παίζων. ἀλλ' ἴθι χαίρων.
Here I lie, having died, Apollonios, Hellaphilos' son.
I acted justly, I always had a pleasant life while I lived,
eating and drinking and playing. But go rejoicing.
