Democritus on Friendship

Democritus, fragment 98 (tr. Kathleen Freeman):
The friendship of one intelligent man is better than that of all the unintelligent.

ἑνὸς φιλίη ξυνετοῦ κρέσσων ἀξυνέτων πάντων.
