For we sing among those who love the clear sound
of the cicada, but not the noise of asses.
ἐνὶ τοῖς γὰρ ἀείδομεν οἳ λιγὺν ἦχον
τέττιγος, θόρυβον δ' οὐκ ἐφίλησαν ὄνων.
