Latin Howler

Cf. Alex Mitchell , "Bad grammar causes actual physical distress in others, study reveals," New York Post (October 27, 2023). I feel physical distress when I see something like "Habemus decentis" or "Habemus orator" masquerading as Latin.
Forgo Latin if you don't know Latin.

White smoke from the capitol chimney! Habemus decentis! (We have a speaker!)I thought maybe Hayward had relied on Google Translate, but apparently not. Google Translate renders "We have a speaker" as "Habemus orator" (equally ungrammatical).
