Tempted to Convert

Referring to a man who had gone over to Rome, Bywater said that he had, generally speaking, a very poor opinion of any one who changed the religion in which he was brought up; 'but,' he added, thoughtfully,' if I had been offered the position of Librarian at the Vatican, I confess I should have been tempted to become a Roman Catholic.
