Collaboration

Euripides, Andromache 476-477 (tr. David Kovacs, with his Greek text and apparatus):
When two poets produce a hymn,
the Muses are wont to work strife between them.

τεκόντοιν θ᾿ ὕμνον ἐργάταιν δυοῖν
ἔριν Μοῦσαι φιλοῦσι κραίνειν.
