Keep Watch

Homer, Iliad 10.192-193 (Nestor to the sentinels; tr. A.T. Murray):
Even so now, dear children, keep your watch, neither let sleep
seize any man, lest we become a cause of rejoicing to our foes.

οὕτω νῦν, φίλα τέκνα, φυλάσσετε, μηδέ τιν᾽ ὕπνος
αἱρείτω, μὴ χάρμα γενώμεθα δυσμενέεσσιν.
