Cantaber

Ronald Syme, "Exotic Names, Notably in Seneca's Tragedies," in his Roman Papers, VI (Oxford: Clarendon Press, 1991), pp. 269-286 (at 279):
Differing predilections obtain, and different types of writing. The subjugation of north-western Spain was the prime military achievement that marked the first decade of the reign, celebrated by the closing of Janus for the second time. Caesar Augustus himself had taken the field against the Cantabrians in 26. Hence 'Cantaber' no fewer than six times in Horace—but nowhere in any other poet.
Except for Lucan 6.259; Silius 3.326, 5.639, 9.232, 10.16, 15.413; Juvenal 15.108; etc.
