Fr. Gerard Deighan writes, "Your most recent post on the asyndetic privatives provoked me to trawl through the entire NT to search out all occurrences." In Fr. Deighan's list, I have italicized the words in the English translation that correspond to the Greek asyndetic, privative adjectives.

Romans 1.30-31:

Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful.

καταλάλους, θεοστυγεῖς, ὑβριστάς, ὑπερηφάνους, ἀλαζόνας, ἐφευρετὰς κακῶν, γονεῦσιν ἀπειθεῖς, ἀσυνέτους, ἀσυνθέτους, ἀστόργους, ἀνελεήμονας.

1 Timothy 1.17:

Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Hebrews 7.26:

For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens.

James 3.17:
