Go Away

Theognis 351-354 (tr. M.L. West):
O wretched Poverty, why won't you up and seek
    another man? Don't cling, I love you not,
so go away, call at another house. Don't stay
    to share this miserable life with me.

Ἆ δειλὴ πενίη, τί μένεις προλιποῦσα παρ' ἄλλον
    ἄνδρ' ἰέναι; μὴ ὦν δὴν οὐκ ἐθέλοντα φίλει·
ἀλλ' ἴθι καὶ δόμον ἄλλον ἐποίχεο, μηδὲ μεθ' ἡμέων
    αἰεὶ δυστήνου τοῦδε βίου μέτεχε.
