This I own, what I have learned and thought, and the Muses'
Solemn precepts, but all my riches are gone like empty smoke.

ταῦτ' ἔχω ὅσσ' ἔμαθον καὶ ἐφρόντισα καὶ μετὰ Μουσῶν
