Jealousy

Aeschylus, Agamemnon 832-833 (tr. Alan H. Sommerstein):
Few men have it in their nature to honour a friend who is enjoying good fortune, without being jealous of him.

παύροις γὰρ ἀνδρῶν ἐστι συγγενὲς τόδε,
φίλον τὸν εὐτυχοῦντ᾿ ἄνευ φθόνων σέβειν.
