Punishment for Arboricide

It is said that for cutting down sacred cedars he was punished by the confiscation of a great part of his estate.
ἱερὰς δὲ λέγεται κέδρους ἐκτεμὼν δημευθῆναι τὸ πολὺ τῆς οὐσίας.
