A scholar who now begins with careful study of the Bulletin épigraphique from 1938 to 1984, the 13 volumes of Hellenica, the four volumes of Opera Minora Selecta, and the more than a dozen independent scholarly volumes by Louis Robert will acquire an education in the scholarship of Graeco-Roman antiquity that no professor can ever provide in the classroom or lecture hall.
