But died here, far the foremost, fighting for this land.
μνᾶμ' ἐμμὶ Πυρριάδα, ὃς οὐκ ἠπίστατο φεύγειν,
ἀλλ' αὖθε πὲρ γᾶς τᾶσδε πολλὸν ἀριστεύων ἔθανε.
