ἐθίζεσθε ἐσθίειν μᾶζαν καὶ πίνειν ὕδωρ, ἰχθύος δὲ καὶ οἴνου μὴ γεύεσθε· ταῦτα γὰρ τοὺς μὲν γέροντας ἀποθηριοῖ ὥσπερ τὰ παρὰ τῆς Κίρκης φάρμακα, τοὺς δὲ νέους ἀποθηλύνει.
