Divine Laughter

Hesiod, Works and Days 59 (tr. M.L. West):
So saying, the father of gods and men laughed aloud.

ὣς ἔφατ᾿, ἐκ δ' ἐγέλασσε πατὴρ ἀνδρῶν τε θεῶν τε.
