A Saying
Pindar, Nemean Odes 9.6-7 (tr. Bruce Karl Braswell):

Now there is a saying amongst men: "Do not hide
in silence on the ground a noble achievement".
For a divine song of vaunting verses is fitting for it.
ἔστι δέ τις λόγος ἀνθρώπων, τετελεσμένον ἐσλόν
μὴ χαμαὶ σιγᾷ καλύψαι· θεσπεσία δ᾿ ἐπέων
καύχας ἀοιδὰ πρόσφορος.
